When entering the world of dabs after smoking only Cannabis flower, it’s important to remember that the dab world - is truly a different world.

This dab world comes with a whole new set of tools and rules. But there’s no reason to feel intimidated, we've outlined everything you need to know about dabbing.
There are many different ways to consume Cannabis Concentrates, but the basics remain the same. There are a only few essential items you need to prepare for your first dab.
We've put together a list of all the items you need to get started on your dabbing journey and create your very own dab kit.
1. Dab Rig
The most important step is getting yourself a brand-new dab rig!
A Dab Rig is a water-filled pipe used to smoke Cannabis Concentrates.
Most dab rigs look very similar to the bongs used to smoke Cannabis flowers.
Finding the right glass for your dab sesh may take a little bit of time.
When purchasing a new dab-rig make sure to consider the glass quality, size, and shape. We recommend starting with a classic mini rig for convenience and flavorful hits.
2. Banger
The Banger is a bowl you attach to your Dab Rig. Similar to the bowls you attach to bongs.
Bangers can be made from glass, ceramic, quartz, or titanium. Inside the banger is where you can watch your delicious wax start to melt right before your eyes.
3. Torch
To heat up your banger you’ll need a hand-held butane torch.
Use caution when heating your banger and never get your dabs too hot.
If too hot, you may over-burn your concentrates and ruin the flavor.
4. Dab Tool
Stay out of sticky situations & keep your hands clean!
Dab tools are small accessories used to hold your concentrates and drop them in the banger.
You want to find a tool that will be easy to use depending on the consistency of your concentrates.
The best dab tools will have a scoop on one end and a tip on the other.
4. Carb Cap
Carb Caps are used to help vaporize and melt your dabs.
After the wax begins to melt, hold your carb cap to the top of the banger and watch the milky smoke fill up your entire rig.
Inhale, Exhale.
You have officially hit your first dab.
It doesn’t end there…
Keeping your dab rig & other concentrate accessories clean is an essential part of dabbing.
5. Cotton Swabs & Alcohol
We recommend having a jar of cotton swabs and alcohol nearby when dabbing.
Afterward, you’ll notice some leftover dabs coating your banger.
Just take a cotton swab and wipe it right off!
You can use the alcohol between dabs to sanitize and clean your glass.
Keeping your banger clean and free of any excess material will help preserve your glass and ensure you’re getting the best hit each time.
A lot of regular dabbers will even set up their own “dab station” in their homes. You can purchase things like Dab Mats to place on your table to help hold your rig, accessories, and cleaning supplies.
